on edit: he has broken both all time records---most won by a contestant overall, and most won in a single day (he finished with a $75,000 payday i believe).
Also...we'll see him in the tourney of champions, too, some day! A shot at another million.

one day (sometime in the guys first coupla weeks) i got home from work early and got to catch the show (my wife always watches). i got there in time to see the portion of the show where alex asks everyone something about themselves. alex asked ken something like "are you going to start a business with all your winnings?"
the following is a paraphrase, not a quote:
alex: are you going to start a business with all your winnings?
ken: no. i despise businessmen.
alex: what?
ken: when the revolution comes, they will all be gone.
alex looked SHOCKED! and quickly moved on to the next person. it was pricelss.

I think he's donating a significant portion to the Mormon Church.
