Bush Loyalty Oath?
Did anyone else see the bit on the Daily Show about people having to sign a "loyalty oath" before being allowed into Bush's campaign stop in Davenport?

:scared:

7. No
one was in New Mexico (loyalty oath) and the other was in
Tucson AZ (race of photographer). The race thing was just stupid,
as they were given tons of other info about her (SSN, Drivers Lic,
home address, length of employment, other stuff).

9. It's just paper. It can't be enforced. No penalty for crossing your
fingers when you sign. It's just symbolically repugnant.

http://www.michaelhanscom.com/eclecticism/2004/08/seeing_cheney_r.html

"I, (full name) ... do herby (sic) endorse George W. Bush for reelection of the United States." It later adds that, "In signing the above endorsement you are consenting to use and release of your name by Bush-Cheney as an endorser of President Bush."
