I'm getting sick of telemarketers. I now have the following schpiel, when they ask if they can have a moment of my time (usually asking if Mr or Mrs (CanuckAmok) is home, ading three "G"s and subtracting a "T" from the pronunciation of my last name):
"Sure, but I have to tell you in advance that my time is billed in five minute increments, at a rate of $1.99 per minute. So, before we get started, I need to know which major credit card you'd like to put this conversation on..."
Works great! They never call more than once.

Reminds me of something a friend of mine, Mitch, once did... He got a call from Sprint wanting to switch his long distance service.
Mitch: I don't know I'm pretty happy with my current provider. They give me 5 cents a minute. Sprint: We can provide you with 5 cents a minute! Mitch: Oh, really? Well, I still don't know... I like them because they also provide my internet service... Sprint: We can also be your internet provider if you switch! Mitch: Oh, really?
This went on for a while, and the Sprint rep was getting more and more excited because he made himself sound more and more interested in the offers. He kept speeding up and ended with this...
Mitch: What about the 50 cents a minute phone sex? Sprint: We have tha... Wait, what did you say? Mitch: So... What are you wearing? Sprint: <Click>
