At my work I spend a lot of time on the phone(I'm an assignment editor in a newsroom) and there has been a time or two that I have, after talking to my wife, I am talking to someone, in a police department or whatever and as I'm about to hang up a "love you" just kind of flows out as the conversation ends.
Once or twice I have done it and have already hung up the phone after realizing what I did. I guess some tough old cops are just softies because they've never called me on it.

9. I have a similar habit with the phrase "You too."

Not on the phone, though. I'm so used to ending a conversation with the other person saying "Have a good day/night/morning," et cetera, that sometimes I say "You too" instinctively.

And so, there have been a few times when I have responded to a hotel clerk telling me, "Enjoy you trip" with "You too." And I've told a few pizza delivery guys/gals to enjoy their pizza, too. :P

tucked the covers around the cats (They crawled in with me when I napped, and they are still asleep in the bed-it gets kinda cool in there, so I pull the comforter partially over them so they don't get cold). Yeah, yeah, I know, I know!!! :silly:
