Hee-hee. I've always loved beautiful pale skin on a woman much more than deep or "savage" or "tiger" tans. They can get creepy if they are dark enough.

I know some people who were in my undergraduate programme with me who were also very heavy tanners. Now, when we're all in our late 20s, they look 40, and I'm still getting carded occasionally when I go to buy booze, which means (in my home jurisdiction) that they think I might be under 19, which I haven't been in about a decade!

I don't tan, I don't wear makeup, I don't smoke...and I don't have wrinkles or skin blemishes, either. Tells ya somethin', doesn't it? :) Good for you! (Says the pale wench who likes her porcelain complexion!)

Though so are tanned ones. I will say, though, that I've seen and known some prototypical blonde California Girls who are so tanned A(nd yet so blonde) that it just does not look real. In fact, I think that it looks even less human because the tan's so even. Very disturbing. Very Barbie-like, but not in a good way.

And, yes, it's major bad news for your skin. Some of those women that are now in their 30s are pretty wrinkled up. Not that wrinkles, lines, etc, can't be attractive....and, of course, there's always the plastic surgeon for them, if they want.....

A tan is your skin's death rattle, basically. Melanoma can be serious stuff, too.
