4. My response to those yokels

I act like I don't get the joke. During the runup to war, a lot of people felt it necessary to tell me the joke about setting up a Target in Iraq. I would look puzzled and say, "But WalMart would probably be easier to get goods into the country. Why would they put in a Target?" They'd proceed to explain, "No, Iraq is a target. Don't you get it?" I'd say, "But what does that have to do with Target?" That would generally go on and on. So no, I wouldn't hit them. I'd wear them out.
