Any Playboy subscribers here? Did Owens out Garcia in interview

Heard this on sports talk on the way home. Former San Fran WR claiming that former QB Jeff Garcia is gay in an interview in Playboy magazine (Like I'm sure DU is just full of Playboy subscribers...)

I dont care if he's gay or not, but I dont like showboats like Owens...

He has a very effeminate voice. But he's not gay.

Mark Patrick from FoxSports Radio like to make fun of his voice.

But Mr. Garcia dates a Playboy Playmate of the Year. Doesn't sound gay to me.

I think it was Owens attempt to demasculinaze Garcia by calling him gay.

Msn had the story.

"Owens was asked about his comments Tuesday following Eagles practice. And the standout wide receiver offered some clarification by repeating his statement. But he also added the Playboy interview was a "loose" interview and "everybody was going to make a big deal out of it. But it wasn't like I came right out and said Jeff was gay."

He is the kind of cocky, loudmouth, bigot that makes an embarassing caricature of the hypermasculine black jock.

I hope Garcia is gay. It's about damn time people realize there are gays in pro sports and it's not the end of the world. Is anyone going to quit watching football because the quarterback is gay? Hello?
