So how does one go about getting...

... to know someone who is never has any spare time?

I know I should probably steer clear, but this man is generous, smart and has a similar sense of humor.

He's the Commander of my son's NJROTC unit.

I thought maybe if I offered to help him with my organizational skills (set up a smart filing system for his paperwork, and mailing out info to parents and students) that would be a way for us to spend time together and also might free up some of his time. He says it would take more time to explain what's on his radar right now than it would to deal with it all himself.
