The Rain Song...:loveya:
This is the springtime of my loving- The second season I am to know You are the sunlight in my growing- So little warmth I’ve felt before. It isn’t hard to feel me glowing- I watched the fire that grew so low.
It is the summer of my smiles- Flee from me keepers of the gloom. Speak to me only with your eyes It is to you I give this tune. Ain’t so hard to recognize- These things are clear to all from Time to time. ooooh...
Talk talk- I’ve felt the coldness of my winter I never thought it would ever go I cursed the gloom that set upon us...
But I know that I love you so But I know that I love you so.
These are the seasons of emotion And like the winds they rise and fall This is the wonder of devotion- I see the torch we all must hold. This is the mystery of the quotient- Upon us all a little rain Must fall. Just a little rain? Ooooh, yeah yeah yeah!

They played The Rain Song at a stadium concert in Tampa (77), when the sky over the stadium turned black and opened up with downpour that didn't stop. They had to stop the show. it was considered a safety hazard to be around the electrical equipment during a deluge, so they bumped the show up for the next night.. Robert Plant announced this and told the audience to hold on to their ticket stubs and come back tomorrow for the whole show. Outside the stadium things got rowdy, police cars were tipped and burned during the ensuing riot. The Mayor of Tampa canceled the show for the next night. We did get a full refund with the stub. That was wild.

2. The first one of course |

In order of my preference, it would be 1, 3, Houses of the Holy, How the West Was Won, 2 and then 4. "When the Levee Breaks" is it's only truly redeeming feature. None of their other albums are really worth mentioning.
And if I never hear "Stairway to Heaven" again, it will be too soon. I burned out on that song 30+ years ago and still haven't gotten over the damage.

4. All true Led Zeppelin fans know that |

Physical Graffiti is their best album. I mean, they're all good albums, but PG is by far their best work.
