Hey computer types, can any recommend a NAS? |
|
My boss wants a data storage server computer type thing. Another employee suggested a $6k Dell workstation to run backups, which seemed a little odd since the configuration had only one hard drive, i.e. no redundancy.
I want to propose a nice little RAID-configured NAS box he can just plug in and use. I have no idea who sells such a thing though. Any suggestions?

5. I use a Compaq StorageWorks S1000 |

Works fine, reliable, this model features redundancy and is a stand-alone plug in.
