Trappers Tear Up Woman's Deck To Find Bobcat Kittens

PLANO, Texas -- Those cute little kittens in a Texas woman's back yard aren't your garden variety cats. They're bobcats.

Animal control officers captured a mother bobcat Wednesday at Gail Grau's home. Now, they've removed part of her backyard deck in search of three bobcat kittens believed to be living there.

Grau said she first noticed the mother about two weeks ago, but she didn't call animal control until she realized the cat and her litter had settled in her yard.

Trappers believe the three young bobcats are about 10 weeks old.

They set several cages around the patio deck in hopes of trapping the kittens.
