I guess I'm on a recycling kick but here goes.


bush, Cheney and Kerry all die at the same time.

In the afterlife all three walk up to the banks of the River Jordan. All were wondering what was up when Michael the Archangel appears.

Michael says, "The pathway to heaven leads across the River Jordan. All who successfully cross it completes their journey into heaven."

One of them asks, "Are there any dangers one might face while crossing the Jordan River?"

Michael answers, "One who is without sin will have no trouble crossing the river. The weight of ones sins will act as a force pulling you down. The more sins one have the more that person gets pulled down untill they submerge and drown. Who will be the first to attempt crossing the river."

After a brief moment of indecision John Kerry steps forward and says he will try. He steps in the river and at first the water is below his knees. As he continues to make progress he sinks deeper and deeper until the midpoint where he is chest high. John starts to sweat and worry about what will happen should he sink any deeper. But to his relief he never sinks deeper and eventually he does cross the river.

Michael the Archangel congratulates him. John is curious though and turns around to look to see if any of the others make an attempt. To his surprise George W is at the midpoint of the river but the water is only knee deep for him.

John protests, "Wait a minute. I know Bush has sinned a lot. He couldn't possibly be knee deep in that water."

Michael answers, "You are correct. The reason he is knee deep is he is standing on Dick Cheney's shoulders."
