what a mean spirited little man he is! The Republican paper here the Oregonian seems to love him, though...they print him regularly (plus Will and Safire, Debra Saunders too) plus place quotes from Rush Limbaugh and Anne Coulter regularly on their Op-Ed page each Sunday....and they cancelled Ariana Huffington's column because they said she was an activist against SUVs!
Incidentally they endorsed Clinton for re-election in 1996...the ONLY TIME EVER they endorsed a Democrat for president in their history, going back to 1850!
