Which newspaper columnist is a overall waste of pulp?

This is a similar thread to the "most pompous" post. But overall, which newspaper columnist do you dislike because you realize trees are being destroyed printing the paper the column it's written on?

For me, I just don't understand why Kathleen Parker has newspaper space at all. She's this whiny sort of right winger who is only obnoxious. No insights, no thoughtprovoking stuff....nothing.

1. William Safire. Can't even get through more than a paragraph.

11. I agree re Cal Thomas

If for no other reason that my local paper has a thumbnail photo of him included in his column that makes me think every time I see it that if you look up "pedophile" in the dictionary you'll see the same photo right beside it.

8. Krauthammer

Dumb as a bag of hammers. Supposedly has a Ph.D., but i don't believe it. His critical thinking skills are roughly those of broccoli. I have NEVER read anything insightful in his columns. He appears on Facist Monday in the Chicago Tribune. (He and Dennis Byrne are a pair for ruining the whole week at 5 am on Monday morning, i'll tell you.)

I agree with you on Parker. Nothing to say and windy in saying it.

Last one, and lesser known is Reuben Navarette. He's a Texan who never saw a social program he wouldn't terminate.

12. Kathleen Parker-she never actually makes a point, right or wrong

but she ALWAYS mentions that she is married and has kids. 1/2 the time she mentions that she has a gun. I have no idea why she is published her columns are totally useless. I have the feeling she has the goods on a bunch of the newspaper guys.
