Poll question: Ice-cold soda or soda on ice -- which do you prefer? |
|
My sister dreams of big-ass Cokes with icebergs in them. I dream of cans of Coke that have been sitting in cracks in the iceberg for a couple of hours.
Which do you prefer when you drink your favorite soda

1. Ice cold soda...no ice. |
|
The ice melts in the cola, making it more watery.
Plus, no annoying cubes to deal with. :-)

3. No ice, but ice cold. Ice leads to diluted soda. |
|
No water, dammit!
Being the Coca-Cola addict that I am, I need my drink free from foreign contaminants like water or ice. Ice especially because it's misleading.;)

4. Pop - What the hell is soda? |
|
just kidding. What are the demographics for who calls it soda and who calls it pop? It definitely must be a geographic thing.
Some people want the carbonation and some people don't like the diluting effect of ice. Just my theory.

Dr. Pepper or Coke in a can, in the freezer for about 40 minutes just as ice crystals begin to form, but before it goes solid.

BTW, about your sig line, that GOP math is so fuzzy that I don't get it. I understand the gay marriage = marry a turtle thing, but I don't know from mathematical symbols . . . . enlighten a mathematical bonehead?

Two straight parents are better than a single straight parent which is still better than two gay parents which are equivalent to a man having sex with a box turtle. :D

Gawd. I am a mathematics train wreck. Did you see the thread I posted several weeks ago, asking for help in figuring out by what percentage Petco's cat litter was more expensive than PetSmart's? Big "D'OH!" -- it was twice as expensive . . . I shoulda just dialed 1-800-DUMBASS.
Thanks for the lesson!

28. Does your sister chew ice? I used to chug the soda to get to the ice |
|
She could be anemic, if she does this. That was my problem. I heard on the news "do you chew ice? you could be anemic." which stopped me in my tracks. They were right. I was, severely. And I lost a tooth because of it. If this is what she does, she should get tested. The hematologist prescribed iron, the most readily absorbed, ferrous fumarate. Maybe I'm way off, but I couldn't help sharing, after what I went through, if this could be the problem.

instead of "Coca Cola". And that's the generic term for just about any caramel colored carbonated drink. Pepsi = Cocola, Tab = Cocola.

I don't drink much pop, but when I do I like ice in it - too sweet otherwise. Unless it's orange soda - that I like just fine without ice.

the resulting dilution weakens it just enough that I can drink it all at once.
For some reason I just can't drink it straight. If I do, it takes me forever.
