Saturday night on Bravo: 'A Night of Gay Weddings'
8pm EST, looks like a retrospective on several gay weddings, men and women, with follow-ups after some time passed.

Looks good.

1. "Looks good"
If you are not a complete basket case who can't take the slightest bit of anything that would elicit the tiniest emotion -- especially if it potentially has life-changing implications (like emigrating to Canada).

But I'll tivo it and watch it when I'm on the right meds. ;)

3. I know lots of people back home who will probably have parties to
watch this show together. I miss my community.

Boy, I'm just a bucket 'o laughs today, ain't I?! Didn't mean to rain on your parade, Mr. Pitt.

4. You can make it up to me
by keeping this thread kicked.

6. would it shed any light if I told you that
that made me cry?

I have zero effective therapeutic meds on board (antidepressants) and I am in a weight loss program that by definition inhibits me from eating to soothe/avoid. That's the nutshell version.

Thanks, Velma. Words can't express.

9. Oh honey...
sorry to hear about the lack of meds. But good on you to sticking to your weight-loss plan even when you really want to eat...I know all about how hard that can be sometimes.

About the only helpful thing I can think of is maybe for you to go get some exercise if you can...even something light like walking. I know that that always has a beneficial impact on my mood.

10. exercise can help for as long as I'm doing it --
which isn't very long. I'm up to 7 minutes on Olly the Elliptical. I think I'll try serial workouts. Do my 5 - 7, get off & stretch, walk around, whatever, then get back on. (The nutritionist suggested this today.) It'll be better than twiddling my thumbs, opening the refrigerator twelve times per half hour, fretting about having too many cats, and driving Mrs. V. up the freaking wall.

Now if I can just figure out how to read while on Olly. :bounce:

Thanks, V.

Mr. Pitt: hijacking is kicking . . . .
