What's your favorite Baked Ham Recipe? |
|
Hi all, for supper tonight I have a ham. I'm looking for some new ways to bake it. Has anyone used this one?
COLA BAKED HAM 1/2 ham (5-6 lb.) 1 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. coca cola 1 c. crushed pineapple (optional)
Wash ham thoroughly. Rub fat side with brown sugar. Pour coca cola over ham. Pour crushed pineapple over ham. Bake at 450 degrees for 3 hours. Makes 6 servings. Oh this is a fully cooked ham already.

2. I've never used that recipe. |
|
I always get a butt ham and cook it with the rind on it for about 2 1/2 hours at 300. The rind keeps the ham juicy. The dogs love the rind.

3. I use ginger ale instead |

Same thing pretty much. Adds some sweet steam to the oven. Delish, now I want some ham. And pass the potato salad, please!

4. Looks like COLA BAKED HAM is the winner. |
|
Well I'm marinating the ham in some HEB Cola. So I'll let you know how it turns out.
