I just bought a 10 disk set of classical hits at Ross |

it has a disk for JS Bach,Schubert,Mozart.Beethoven, Vivaldi,J Strauss,Dvorak,Wagner Tchaikovsky & Chopin. some nice pieces. Mostly London Philharmonic. Have I become a Philistine? on edit: I spent $15 OR 1.50 each

and not just snippets or single movements of large works. Otherwise, it's like reading one chapter of a novel.

the Wagner and Tchaikovsky are fine; overtures and dances. The Chopin is fine too. so is Vivaldi one disc -4 seasons & a conceirto. I suspect the bach is mostly short pieces too. Only the Beethoven is really different movements. Dvorak is 1 movement and a bunch of short pieces.
