Cold? or Allergies?
I've been sick since Friday, and I can't figure out if its a cold or allergies.

How do you tell the difference?

No fever, but chills.

Lots of congestion -- stuffy nose, headache.

No appetite -- all I can eat is chicken noodle soup.

1. Are you sure there's no fever?
Chills make me think it's a cold, but I usually associate those with a fever.

My dad swears by buffered aspirin for viruses.

2. Feel germ-y?
I have a cold. Same symptoms, with a low grade fever. The tell-all is that I can almost feel the germs in my blood veins swimming around.

Got Kleenex?

3. I've gone thru tons of it
I just took some Ny-Quil.

Hopefully I will doze off while it does its work, and dry up my sinus cavities.

5. colds go away, allergies don't
If you've only been sick since Friday, you have a cold or some other bug. If you're still sniffling in a month, OK, you have an allergy and you need to find out what your allergen is and get rid of it.

6. Couldn't really tell ya...
but either way Nyquil when consumed in mass quanity should fix that. Just don't OD (if thats possible). I wouldn't want to be the guy or girl that OD'd on Nyquil.
