Is my liberal Christians page easier or harder for you to read now?
I tried to organize things by subject a bit more. Does it make it easier for you to zero in on areas of interest faster than when it was one long page?

Thanks!

~Jen

Would Jesus love a liberal? You bet!

2. I know what you mean. I feel sympathy for the child he must have been
and for his daughters when they were young, but I have a harder time coming up with it for him now because I am so angry with his actions and the way he has hurt multitudes of people.

Just as well that I am not God. Compassion for all, no matter what, is something I struggle daily with.

3. It Looks Great, Jen
I've visited a couple of the links on your webpage, but with the election and all, I haven't given it the attention it deserves. I will make a point of visiting *soon* for inspiration.

as I could on account of being wrapped up in politics. And it's definitely because it's an election year.

4. Thank you so much for this! I'm bookmarking this site...
I have a born-again cousin who thinks Dubya walks on water. I desperately needed something like this to gently persuade her in the right direction.

for my site. I have met very few liberal Christians who embrace GWB. And I have met very few conservative Christians who embrace the ideas of liberal ones.

Still, it can't hurt to try. I recommend starting her off with the Interview with God down in the misc. section. It's quite touching for most believers. :) Also, the bible passages are good too. Conservative Christians believe the Bible is inerrant, so they have a harder time refuting those passages than Liberals who feel that the word (such as it stands now) needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

And she might already be a member of a couple of the general Christian forums, to boot.

Just PM me if you'd like any more ideas.

*hugs*

5. Great project! Meets a real need!
You've obviously put a lot of effort into this, and I commend you. :toast:

What I noticed when it loaded is that it wasn't immediately obvious it was about liberal Christians. Since I *knew* from your post, I scrolled down to find it, and for me, it would have been really good to have that big title a the beginning.

I'm impressed with how you have it so well organized. I'm also bookmarking, and recommending this site to others.

Great job!

6. I know, the directory to the rest of the site is rather large *l*
But I'll be taking down the F9/11 gif after the election, and that will help shrink things up so that the second title will show without having to scroll down.

I hope to add more items of interest to the page as I discover them. Hopefully people who are struggling with fundagelicalism will find some relief there. (In fact, the reason why I started the site was because I found there were many helpful resources out there, but that they were scattered across the 'net and required a lot of googling to dig them up.)

*hugs*

9. Well, of all the pages, the liberal Christians one is accessed by most far
and is usually found by people who google "liberal Christians", "Jesus was a liberal", or "jesus love".

Now, whether they are folks who are looking to refute the idea of liberal Christianity or looking to embrace it, I have no clue. *g* But either way I am happy they poked their heads through the door.

17. I did notice, too, that they don't seem to have much good to say about the
page. Not even one reference to the Scripture on it. You'd think they'd at least appreciate that, but no. *lol*

take the time to take the political compass quiz. Gotta give him credit for that. :)

12. You're doing your part for the liberal christian revival!
You know how the fundies are always praying for a national revival? God does answer prayers, but as the old saying goes, be careful what you pray for, you just might get it!

I have a couple of links, if you want to add them to your website, for Unity churches, which is also a liberal christian denomination, although they also are a new age kind of church.

www.unityworldhg.org

and my local church:
