1. Have you seen Jacobs Ladder?
That one is my yardstick for scary crap - so far all others have failed.

5. Yep. One of the Scariest
Really freaked me out when those monsters/people/things would vibrate and shake back and forth so fast that their features were a blur.

2. It's kind of scary...
but it's also pretty hillarious in parts. My father thought it was so stupid to watch.

6. Probably the same reasons I have...
Unaccountability! You can blow some "humans" brains out and not have to worry about the consequences! I've always been fascinated with zombie films for that very reason! I remember watching "Dawn of the Dead" back in '79 when I was a kid and imagining myself barricaded in a local shopping mall with hordes of zombies scratching at the entrances trying to get in! I even remember wondering what it would be like to go up on the roof and spend the day sniping zombies with a rifle out in the parking lot...long before they did that very thing in the "Dawn of the Dead" remake!

It's just something about killing "people" that don't matter..no worries about your conscience bothering you because they're already dead!

4. Uh...
Nah.
Alien, when it first came out, completely and totally blew away anything made in the last 20 years.

7. Yep, that was pretty scary
I saw part of it before I had to run off to work. I'd already seen it a few times anyway....freaky stuff. I like those sorts of movies where things are messing with your head.

8. I've not seen it. so "The Exorcist" remains my most scary movie
That movie totally freaked me, and I've only ever seen it on TV with commericals and edits.

In fact, no other "scary" movie has ever actually scared me. Only that one.
