My fiancee and I are about to move into a little house with a fireplace at one end of the living room, so I'm studying the built-ins you have on either side of the fireplace for inspiration.

Pic is (as you wrote) small, but is that fireplace screen butterfly-shaped? Tres cool!

Beautiful room.

I have a similar setup - 1913 bungalow.

The original built in woodwork in the living room is mostly gone, but the dining room is completely intact - in the original finish even.

It's tiny but cute.
