Hooters Manager Who Filmed Applicants Jailed

A MANAGER of Hooters, the US restaurant chain known for its provocatively clad waitresses has been jailed for five years for secretly filming job applicants changing into their skimpy uniforms.

Juan Martin Aponte, the since-sacked manager of a Hooters branch in California, was ordered to register as a sex offender after he also admitted charges of using a minor for a sex act and eavesdropping.

West Covina Superior Court judge Mark Grant Nelson told Aponte he had "defiled the rights of these young ladies".

Aponte, 32, was arrested in May after a young job-seeker complained about a camera in the changing room.
