The National Hurricane center SUCKS!!! |
|
They have been completely wrong about this storm from the start. Yesterday this thing was supposed to strengthen from 145 before it hit land. Then it weakened. Then it slowed. Then it weakened some more. Then they predicted it would strengthen from 115. It has weakened to 105 and slowed to 4mph. I know it's hard to predict these things but these guys are useless.

3. Notice how nothing works under Bush? |

I mean NOTHING! The FAA as on top of things under Clinton. You could get stuff from FOIA. Intelligence seemed to be working okay. The antiMidas strikes again.

4. Given the small and inadequate human tools we have to predict |
|
things much greater and more powerful than us....this is really the best they can do.
God, the universe, the force, Gaia, or whatever you want to call life energy is much more powerful than any freaking human or their toys(computer)
If this thing fizzles out, the next one no one will go anywhere....
if you look at a big map there is another storm on the other side near mexico and some storms over the middle of the country, so I wonder if it will just get pushed away and like Floyd go north and wreck a lot of other places on the coast....
So they probably do suck at predicting nature....maybe it was/would better if we didn't know so much information.

but they're probably the best at it in the world.
The fact is predicting these things is incredibly difficult. I don't fault them - they do the best with the level of knowledge and the tools currently available.
