I sent an e-mail to Dell yesterday. I told them my name and my question. (My name is Dave. My question was 'Could the Tungsten T3 be upgraded to Palm OS 6?')
Here's the response,
UNALTERED (though some international characters got altered between the e-mail and the copy'n'paste to here).

Now he's very polite and truthful, which I like in a business.
However, my name is not Anne. It never was "Anne". Most men currently are not named 'Anne'. I do not want to change my name to "Anne". It's a great name, but I was not meant to be named "Anne" unless my parents took dope. (and they didn't.) What the halliburton is wrong with their database if it pulled up "Anne" instead of "Dave"?!?! :wow:
Why did Palm go out of its way to announce Palm OS 6 yet not give ANY information about upgradeability or upcoming new products using it?
But at least we know: Palm outsources too. :-(
I don't think it will be upgradeable. A pity as I love the T3 design. But as I'm doing more with meetings and calendar stuff, I can wait only for so long. It's impossible for me to hear the iPaq due to my hearing problem. :-(
