Halo or Battlefield Vietnam?..................................
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 11:12 AM by foamdad
Hey DU PC gamers! I found that this past paycheck will allow me the luxury of a new PC game. I'm really in the mood for a good FPS. Looking on Pricegrabber, I see that both Halo (the original) and BF:V are in my price range, and that they both have gotten good multiplayer reviews. So which will it be, the steamy jungles of southeast Asia or a toasty off-world gib-fest?

1. If you want to have some real fun....
Unreal Tournament, 2k4. Superb.

Ah, for the purposes of your query, Halo2. Also very good.

5. What is Halo about.. type of play.. i haven't heard much about it, i play
Crimson skies.. and am Black Rain in the multi-player... except my new and expensive HP desktop totally sucks and the Active X is defective.. haven't been able to play in months... not to mention MY DSL provider..Southwestbell.net is a pain, I had a friend that couldn't get it to work for 5 weeks.. they told him they would give him a month free..Ha Ha he told them that wasn't much a deal being he spent over 12 hours in tech support already and it still doesn't work... and the guy makes $40 dollars an hour at work.. I have spent close to 30 hours only because i live in an isolated area and wanted to play Crimson Skies....:freak: :argh:

4. I already have some funds set aside for that................
However, I think that the release date they give will come and go with no release. I can't remember a game that wasn't pushed back at least a couple of week from the original release date. I predict a Halloween release for SW: Battlefront. I'd like to see a demo first.

6. I haven't played BV, but I can tell you that Halo gets repetitive FAST
in fact a lot of the levels are the same maps just scaled up or down with different textures slapped on them.
