Who would win in a fight: Caffeine Junkies or Nicotine Addicts?

Envision this: Coffee Drinkers and Cigarette Smokers are pitted against each other in a grueling fight to the finish.

They are in the throes of cold turkey because they haven't had their fix, and the other side in the way.

The winners would get a lifetime supply of their legal addictive substance of choice.

Who would win?

1. Cigarette smokers

would be so out of breath after a couple minutes of furious activity that they wouldn't be able to defend themselves from the caffeine junkies, who would then beat them to death with their coffee mugs.

Get a bunch of nerds whose MUD or MMORPG has been down for a week...then you'll know true fear. :scared:

I know of what I speak...the server for the MUD I play is located in Florida and the guy who runs it was smack in the middle of Charley, the game was down for about a week until they got power back in their neighborhood. We were all about ready to kill each other. :crazy:

3. Having quit both...

I'd say the smokers would win. When I quit smoking, I was full of too much nervous energy, and pissed off all the time. But when I quit drinking coffee, I felt like I was on sleeping pills.

I'm inclined to agree with above re the caffiene addicts will be dragging along with bad headaches - the smokers will be hyper and jittery and "on the fight"

A nicotine addict in withdrawl is a frightening and unstoppable thing, and would easily make paste of someone who hadn't had his coffee yet.

For some reason, the nodes or glands there get really achey when you quit drinking caffeine drinks, if you were a big addict.

Plus you could hit them in the head, cuz they get headaches too.

Oh, and caffeine addiction goes away after a few days of headaches. The majesty of tobacco is an imprint on one's soul.
