Is there any way to do this? (web design question) |
|
Take data from a php page and read it into flash and display the data.
I'm not entirely too sure of what exactly that is but I know someone who's been asking if anyone can do it and he has a web site.

1. I'm going to say you have to re enter the data manually.. |
|
My php skills aren't too good, but I've never really found a way that you can actually do that.
But please, don't take my word on this.

You should be able to produce an RSS or XML feed from the PHP using an aggregator... then import that into Flash using action script in real time. Try this page. http://www.actionscript-toolbox.com/blogReader.php

I've never done it, but as far as I know, it is not THAT complicated... you do need some knowledge of both PHP and Flash Actionscript in order to do it. Take a look here: http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/flash/articles/flash_xmlphp.htmlhttp://www.studiowhiz.com/tutorials/53/
