Porn Presentation Remains Mystery
Edited on Wed Sep-08-04 10:06 AM by Champ
GREENSBURG, PA-September 8, 2004 — Officials in a Westmoreland County school district say they can't figure out how a pornographic image of two naked men made its way into a motivational computer video presentation two weeks ago week.

Hempfield Area School District Superintendent Wayne Doyle says it appears the picture got into the presentation – which was made on a teacher's personal computer – completely by accident.

Nobody will be disciplined. Doyle says the teacher whose computer projected the image was so upset she couldn't eat for a day.

The motivational program has become a staple at the district. It is meant to showcase new programs and employees and to salute retirees and awards that school staff won the year before.

Several hundred district employees – and about two dozen students – were present when the image was shown.

5. I once saw a criminal attorney's office presentation
film - done by a local company here in Dallas. On the demo tape, smack dab in the middle of "What to Expect at Your Deposition" was a brief two second flash of a HUGE dildo standing upright on the corner of a bed. I mean you could have used this thing for a boat anchor. I have no idea what human orifice could possibly have accommodated it - I think it was just a "conversation piece"?

Fortunately the office manager had a great sense of humor. The best part was playing it back for their editor and trying not to pee in our pants while keeping a straight face.

7. So that's where the guards at Abu Ghraib got the idea
"interrogating" the witnesses . . .

Remind me never to get "deposed" (at least, without dinner and a show first; nah, you don't have that much money; besides, Mrs. zbdent would get pissed)

6. I wonder if this isn't what happened:
I'll bet she direct-linked to a photo she found online, without checking to see if she had the right to use it or if the website minded, and the source had an image redirect assigned to the location where the pornographic image was stored. I've seen it happen on here -- people linking to what they think are 'stock photos' at a site that doesn't allow remote linking, and what pops up is a pornographic or otherwise graphic and offensive image when it's displayed.

Means you really should check when you link to a photo, including here, that the site doesn't say 'remote linking discouraged/prohibited' in other words.
