Dog's snore worse than its bite

A Romanian dog owner has been forced to leave his apartment after a court ordered his mastiff be removed from the building because its snoring was keeping the neighbours awake.

Neighbours say that when Attila Varga's Neapolitan mastiff Sumo snores, their walls shake and burglar alarms go off.

"My father-in-law couldn't take it any more. He left," neighbour Iuliu Popa said.

However, Mr Varga says he would appeal the court's decision, which granted his neighbours' request to have the 60 kilogram dog ousted.
