Why aren't these freepers being charged with assault??

I thought it was against the law for a citizen to restrain another person who isn't violating a law. How come these Repukes are allowed to manhandle and quash people who are expressing their opinions????

make anyone who is going to see bush sign a paper saying they will support him and be nice. Only allow their types in. If you cause a disruption you will be removed

I tend to go with tsakshaug's reply; the probability is that this was held in an enclosed place with invited guests only. Regardless, the protester can bring charges for assault. Bushians could charge him with trespassing, but of course this would publicise how fake his whole campaign has been. Or they could do another Free Speech Zone prosecution; the press certainly did a jam-up job of covering the last one.
