6. I did watch most of it |

But it pissed me off. HBO took most of the big awards, and that sucks. Network shows can't do all the shit that HBO can get away with, like with the Sopranos and others, and the network shows shouldn't be pitted against the pay channels in the same categories, like Best Series. I don't think there is a fair comparison between The Sopranos and CSI or Law and Order or any of the other non-pay channel series that won the big awards.

7. Or, put it another way |

Angels in American was in a category by itself. I felt bad for anyone who was a nominee in the same category. It was an excellent movie and I was glad that, this being HBO, it was broadcast in different formats - 3 hours twice, one hour, and several times. We watched it in two hours increments.
Interesting, when Tony Kushner, the writer, received his emmy, he also thanked his "husband" and expressed his wishes that someday they would be legally married.
I have not watched Frazer for three years, ever since "24" came along. Both were at the same time and taping and watching later was too much. But when Kelsey Grammar won, I swear the announcer said that he played this role in three series!
And Jon Stewart was great, showing how Washington was denounced by soldiers who claimed to have been in the same boat and he was not there..

8. Yeah, Frasier Crane showed up in no less than three TV sitcoms! |
|
'Cheers' and 'Frasier', obviously, but he guest-starred on an episode of 'Wings', too. Boy, he got around!
Too bad Grammer is a Repuke. I thought that because Frasier was a Dem that KG would be one, as well.
