6. Does Anyone Recognize the Three Panels?
Can anyone guess what the three electrical control panels are really used for?

P.S. it's way past my bedtime, but I'll check back tomorrow to see if anyone knows.

10. Power generation monitoring, I'd guess.
Could be a marine systems control panel.

23. U.S. Submarine Maneuvering Room Consoles
These three consoles monitor and control the submarine's entire nuclear power plant. The console to your left controls the steam turbines. The center console is the nuclear reactor control panel, while the right-hand console controls the electrical system.

Where's the gas pedal to make the electrons go faster? Gotta wonder if this isn't some kind of hoax....that printer in the foreground looks positively post-1975ish

12. Hmm...
I'm glad that programming languages have matured beyond Fortran.

I wonder if this photo is really from 1954, though, because I see proportional spacing! ;)

13. Not to be cynical, but I smell a hoax
The dude on the left seems to have been photographed with outdoors lighting. The keyboard is from the early 70s or late 60s. The notion of a monitor screen (and possibly the use of Fortran) wasn't anticipated for computers in the 50s. If they did have a monitor, it sure wouldn't be just a big TV mounted on the wall. WebTV is a bit of an anachronism.

Oh, and no one expected to use a computer at home back then. As late as the 70s IBM was laughing at Jobs and Gates for suggesting home computers. Also, please note the "smart quotes" and superscript for the number of the deployed TANG unit in this obvious forgery. Did they even have this font face in 1973?

14. It's either a fake, or a bad mockup

I mean look at that paper in the printer. The width of the paper going in, does not quite match what's coming out. Must have a shrinking function built in :)

Edit:

Also the guy's hand against the black background still has fringing around it from the oringal background.

rumored dalliance with Hannity, which is designed to divert us from the fact that Hannity is rumored to be gay, etc.
