Who's getting the Star Wars DVDs?
I'm going to Best Buy tonight at 12:01 for my set, and I'll probably watch a good bit of the set when I get home. Sleep be damned!

I'm such a nerd.:eyes:

1. I'd buy ep 4 and 5
If I could get them separately. Same deal with "Raiders".

4. You'll probably be able to do that on eBay eventually.
Someone will buy a whole bunch of sets and sell the movies individually to people who hate Return of the Jedi.

2. Not I. Yet.
Tempting, but I've other projects and discs that are more enticing. :-)

5. Nope. No interest any more.
I've seen Star Wars way too many times.

6. The only time I did the Best Buy at midnight thing was
when the Beatles Anthology came out, back in 95.

I've been a former fan since Endor, but reading some of the extras made me think I'd at least rent them someday (Kurt Russell as Han?).

As for StarWars, in the original, how fast did Han say he made the Kessel Run (There's an EW reader's contest).

Oh, and did C3PO ever make a statement about "Don't call me a philosopher you pile of oily dreck" or words to that effect?

8. Han made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.
She's fast enough for you, old man. What's the cargo?

And yes, C-3PO said something like that at one point.

10. Not me.
I really don't like anything George Lucas has done with the franchise over the last ten years, and this DVD looks like more of the same.

Now, if Lucas ever pulls his head out of his ego and releases the original, digitally-untouched version on DVD, I'll be all over it. But that's never going to happen.
