They do suggest that veteran moderators apply, since it will be such an intense time in the coming months. Not veterans only, but they appear to want a good number of veterans.

you speak the truth - its a good time, the fringes are great (don't forget the open bar and sauna in the mod cabana!) and you DO work with some wonderful folk.

If you are a serious DUer volunteer and try to serve a term - it'll give a better undestanding of the board and how it all works.

I mean, I have the well-developed Libran sense of fairness. I'm willing to concede when someone's right, even if I can't stand them.

But I imagine the admins frown on mods smutting up the lounge every few weeks...
