American Processed Cheese food ruins everything
I had some NY Sharp Cheddar and I melted it over chips with chilli pepper and red pepper. It was delicious so I decided to make more. But I had about 5 slices of American processed cheese food (my friend ate it, but I do not and since he died I thought I would get rid of it the cheswick way...by eating it). So I put the American Processed Cheese food in with the real cheese... the NY sharp Cheddar and it RUINED the good cheese and made it all tast like horrible American Process Cheese food slices. UGH

Please don't even tell me you like that stuff.

1. That stuff is illegal in Wisconsin
But unlike Oleo, nobody bothers to smuggle it in.

4. LOL
No one smuggles it in, that is funny. It might be good for glue, but I am not sure it even has enough substance for that.

3. I like it only on grilled cheese sandwiches
because it does not melt greasy-like. I can't eat it straight like I can with real cheese.

is Swiss. Did you ever try it?

9. Too strong. I actually prefer provalone, but I usually stick with
kraft cheese, a slice of ham, and a dollop of dijon on the side for dipping. Bachelor on a budget, you know.

11. I see
To me the stronger the cheese is the better the taste. But the ham and mustard sounds good.

5. Was it Kraft singles?
If you are going to buy processed cheese, buy American cheese, not cheese food, from the deli. It melts easier than naturual cheddar and keeps longer. Don't buy cheese food. I suppose some people like it, but the term means that they substituted whey powder for some of the cheese to make it cheaper. Unfortunately processed cheese is variable anyway because plants often take advantage of oppurtunity cheese, which they get free for not so good reasons. Processed cheeses of all types are made in Wisconsin along with naturual cheese.

8. I think Jack used to buy it because it was
better for his heart, or he thought it was. He always thought his heart would kill him. But it was his lungs instead.

Jack was a walking advertisement for not smoking. Years ago he also has oral cancer.
