Now I usually don't like profanity in posts or speech but I must say I approve of his statement 100%.

He said this after Biden was just saying how great a man the * is. Then my mother said, "I hate to say it, but we have a (P)resident who sucks." (She does not usually talk that way.) You gotta love those voting senior citizens.

10. He reminds Minnesotans of Hubert Humphrey,
the Happy Warrior. That's the thing seniors like about him. He's tough, critical, funny and no-nonsense. I like him a lot.

11. I thought Joe Biden was one of the good guys!
So what did he say?

As for your parents, kudos to them!:-)

I will trade either one of them for my freeper mother who has resorted to using four-letter words, usually against any Clinton!:-(

Anchor Tom Brokaw also interviewed Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del.) of the Foreign Relations Committee, who gave the president a rave review, calling the speech "an incredible first step" in implementing a new strategy. Bush had "made a real U-turn here," Biden said, rejecting the counsel of his "neo-con" hard-line advisers and instead adopting a course of action recommended by Secretary of State Colin Powell.

"It took a big man to do that, and I plan to support him," Biden said

...
It was an odd situation, really: a prominent member of the opposing party doing a better job of making Bush's case than Bush had done. Biden was amplifying Bush's remarks instead of criticizing anything about the address, which presumably had been his reason for being there.

13. Eww! Thank you for answering my question...
I had always liked Biden, but if he is supporting Bush*s speech tonight, which was nothing but an exhalation of hot air, then I need to take another look. Where are the Democrats, anyway? That speech didn't even impress CNN! Thanks for the wake-up call on even those whom I believed were the ``good guys.'':-(

What hope is there?!
