Laura Bush was in my hometown today... |
|
and I had no friggen clue about it until I turned on NJN 7pm news today. This is what happens when I go back to college, I get bombarded with work and lose touch with the "outside" world. A perfectly good protest opportunity squandered. Although one woman (a mother of a killed Marine) was arrested for protesting in the building. They also showed a small group protesting outside of the firehouse where pickles was speaking.
However I think the pukes will be hitting NJ harder in the next month or two because polls have Kerry "allegedly" slipping.

1. Did you spell the odor of Brownies in the air? |
|
Or the aroma of a freshly smoked doobie?

Was she asking the audience if they had any Oreos? When the protester stood up did she point, laugh, and say, "Heh heh...cool!"

3. Well, if you had been able to go, |
|
I'm sure you would have been released on your own recognizance! (Or we DUers would have made your bail.) :)

5. Other people dying does not seem to bother Laura Bush |
|
Ever since she killed that guy after running a stop sign, it seems so very.....irrelevant. Been there, done that!

6. That mother was arrested |
|
For wearing a t-shirt that had a photo of her Marine son with a caption that read: "George Bush, why is my son dead?"
Oooh! Terrorist alert! Mustn't let Xanax woman look past her little rose coloured glasses and see the brutal reality. So the secret service came after this mother and she was carted off to jail.
So much for Freedom of Speech. Can you imagine Eleanor Rooseveldt treating a WWII mother like that??
How far the mighty have fallen:cry:

7. When they interviewed her... |
|
she also brought up the point that none of the children of the members of Congress were fighting in Iraq, nor are the twins.
It's good that you mention Roosevelt, because their son served with honor in WWII often putting his own life on the line...not like W who got his daddy to keep him stateside
