Harry Potter Fans for Bush?????
Ooookay......

LiveJournal being a part-time addiction of mine, I'm used to seeing strangeness around it. However, I then found the "Wizards, Witches, Warlocks, Muggles for George Bush in 2004" community.

http://www.livejournal.com/community/wizardsforbush/

Seems like a batch of people have a serious problem distingishing reality from fiction.

Then again, based on the way the GOP is handling the economy, employment, *and* the war in Iraq, this should come as no surprise. Hell, anyone who's ever listened to the lies coming out of Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, etc., should not be surprised by this. And since many Right-Wingers seem willing to believe the tripe they spew.......

I guess it had to happen. Sad to say. And there are some serious nutjobs on that community. The weird part being is that many of the religious nuts promoting Bush are the same types that would burn the Harry Potter books. (Shakes head)

I will admit that, when I first saw this community, I was reminded of the "Republicans for Voldemort" t-shirts that the on-line comic "Goats" sells... (http://www.goats.com/store/tshirts.html)

6. That's bizarre.
The Goblet of Fire and the Order of the Phoenix are indictments of malicious, government ass kissing media. Phoenix, especially, is about government infringement of rights and overstepping its bounds, lying to people to maintain power, paranoia directed at the wrong enemy....

And the Republicans think they're meant as the good guys??? Uh, fellas, you're the Death Eaters.

I guess they didn't see the interview in '99
when bush said he didn't think Witchcraft was a real religion. That was in response to the Army's refusal to deny a group of Witches at Ft. Bragg, TX the right to practice their religion (a bunch of fundies had complained, etc.). At that time Governor Bush was asked on Good Morning America what he thought of the controversy and he said he thought the Army should reconsider their decision because he didn't think Witchcraft was a real religion, anyway.

When I heard that I decided I knew all I needed to know about him--apparently he hasn't read the Constitution! (not enought pictures, I guess)
