Uncontrollable popups

I never had a problem with popups, but since yesterday, they're coming in too fast! What can I do stop it? I downloaded a popup stopper but it's hardly any good. Got any specific programs that have been proven useful?

Go to www.lavasoft.de and download AdAware.

You've been infested with some spyware, remove it and you'll remove the pop-ups :).

4. get google bar

It gets every popup and its SUPER easy to install and work. If you want popups you just click on the icon and it remembers this every time for that page

for me. I've had only a few pop-ups since I installed it a week ago and I think that was because of operator error.

Like the others said you have been infested with spyware which is not uncommon.
