Can someone help me refute this?
Some weeks ago I mentioned a person I'm forced to work and play nicely with, who delights in sending me wingnut BS. Here's his latest. Any clues? Or is it even worth it?

Subject: Enron & The President

This is an interesting bit of information that you don't hear much about in the media -- Certainly there is a political dimension here:

a. Enron's chairman did meet with the president and the vice-president in the Oval Office.

b. Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three years.

c. It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.

d. The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times.

e. The corporation had access to the administration at its highest levels and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease deals for it.

f. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for more than $600 million in just one transaction. Scandalous!!

g. BUT...the president under whom all this happened WASN'T George W. Bush.

h. SURPRISE ......... It was Bill Clinton!

Pass this on. The Media Won't!

3. From the Snopes Web Site
Claim: Democrats and the Clinton administration have received more campaign contributions from Enron and have been more accommodating of Enron's lobbying efforts than Republicans and the Bush administration.

Status: False.

4. $420,000
seems like a lot until you realize that Enron gave $4.6 million to Chimpy and the Republicans.

"The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times" is a flat out LIE.

What a bunch of hooey. Of course, if you send this link back to whoever sent this to you, they will ignore it.

"This has to be true. Bill Clinton is the devil, I tell ya!" or some such bile will be spewed.

How sad that people are so gullible.

6. Thanks, all
For the first time ever I refuted one of his e-mails and attached the Snopes link. We'll see how that is received.
