Do they EVER go to sleep? |
|
They are playing "Fu Man Chu Sumo Wrestler" right now. They have the bean bag chairs, using them for bellies, running and crashing into each other.
Tell me that they will eventually play out and go to sleep.
(ten year old sleepover.)

that is exactly why we don't do sleepovers -- I took them out to an ice rink (hockey) on the last birthday. I figured it would tire them out and I didn't have a mess to contend with. I feel your pain :hi:

I miss the days of sleepovers... though, actually, even in my late 30s, some of my friends and I still have sleepovers.
We don't do the physical play around stuff any more, but we still do stupid stuff. Like drink too much, watch Python, watch Vicar of Dibley, smoke pipes (just tobacco) and have loud conversation.
Ah, the joys of young person sleepovers and silly games.
Good for you for hosting!!
A house with laughter and fun is a house that wil endure forever and raise children who will be amazing and wondrous human beings.
your kids are lucky to have you, and that you aren't telling them to quit!
They'll fall asleep sometime around breakfast.

6. It's easy to quiet them down |
|
From now on, make them co-ed sleep-overs.
Oh, they'll get real quiet. Just the occasional giggle and sigh. And you'll be able to get a good night's sleep!
