Donnie Darko had a great soundtrack
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places – worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere – going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression – no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow – no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had

1. Absolutely.
God, this Gary Jules version of "Mad World" is so incredibly beautiful.

That thread's from Monday, but I can't get that song out of my head.

3. I've alway loved this song too, great video too.

In starlit nights I saw you
So cruelly you kissed me
Your lips a magic world
Your sky all hung with jewels

4. You can never hear too much Joy Division
Love Will Tear Us Apart is still one of my all-time faves. The whole soundtrack was compelling and fit the movie perfectly.

One thing that many might have missed was The Jesus and Mary Chain's Just Like Honey at the end of Lost in Translation. Again, it was perfect for what it was there for.
