"Foster's" is NOT Australian for bee-ah. |
|
That's right folks! According to my Australian travel mates, no self respecting Australian would be caught dead drinking Foster's.
I believe them.

If you find yourself in Milwaukee, do NOT order a "Milwaukee's Best".

I wonder why it's the only beer they would ever order at german pub I used to frequent that would get tourists from all over?
Don't get me wrong, it's about as appealing as our blandest macrobrewed domestics I could never get why the Austrailian tourists would never order any other beer. It was like they were homesick or something.

7. What's so bad about Fosters? |

I think they're pretty good, and fairly stout too.

23. I used to love those cans though |

I suspect I had already had too many other drinks, when I used to drink Fosters to know it wasn't that good. I don't think there were any other Austrailian beers available back then, when I used to drink it, back in the 80s.

16. According to the reviewers at BeerAdvocate.com |
|
Australians export this (and contract it to Canada) because they won't drink it. Even kangaroos spit this out.

I stared at a Victoria Bittah for an hour. It was awful, at least according to my taste buds. I really enjoyed Lord Nelson's Blood at the Lord Nelson Inn. It couldn't be beat along with potato wedges.

25. So what? I have no taste anyway. Cheap beer. |
|
It stands head and shoulders above that budweiser shite that so many Americans guzzle. And the 25.6 oz. can is reassuringly hefty and means fewer trips to the frige.
