"Do you know what some idiot was doing?!"
"He was eating a FISH!" ~sob~

This is what my 6 year old told me after he saw a guy fileting a salmon on TV tonight. Poor kid.

That's what I get for letting him watch Finding Nemo.

1. Hahaha! That is so sweet and funny.
Sounds like a sensitive little guy. I am raising one of those, too, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :-)

7. Absolutely...
I can honestly say that sharing time with him is my favorite hobby. Just like your little guy, they can amaze us with the things they say--they think on a level that is so profound that sometimes we as parents can't even comprehend the depth of their feelings and thoughts.

:toast: to our boys! :loveya:

10. I'll drink to that!
I'm homeschooling him; and he occasionally asks if he can be the teacher for the day.

He has know idea that he already is! :toast::loveya:

2. I've heard sales of pork dropped tremendously after "Babe" came
out, enough for the marketing reps to do a study and find out why.

Of course that could be an urban legend, don't know.

3. I wouldn't be surprised.
I know it had an effect on me. :D

I wonder what happened to the pig. I read awhile back that the owner had some kind of disease on the farm, and "Babe" was going to have to be destroyed, even though they kept him totally isolated from the other animals (he was an indoor pig).

I hope he's ok...

6. I'm not sure about that either, actually...
Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing any hog-maws in the scene where Mrs. Hoggett measures "his" belly...
