We might be alone.
I guess we'll just have to go looking.

3. Not Totally Alone... Just Isolated (Very Very Isolated) |
|
Mathematically, the chances are very high that intelligent life forms exist in other galaxies or in our OWN galaxy. But considering the age of the universe and the distances involved and the total number of galaxies (and total number of stars within those galaxies)... the chances that we are being visited by interstellar travelers is zero.
I imagine that our first evidence of intelligent extraterrestrial life will come in the form of SETI discovering radio signals from another solar system in another galaxy.

we are not alone...honestly...we can't be the only living beings in the universe...call me crazy but with all the galaxies beyond ours...there has to be life out there somewhere...I find it doubtful that we are the only living beings in the vast expanses of space...
I almost fell into that "creation" stuff...sorry to those of you who belive that...but to me it just doesn't make sense...if God created us...then he would have surely created life on other worlds...but think about it...the universe is expanding...the big bang theory comes into play here...grant it there is a logical explanation for this but I don't buy the religious point of view...!
