I like the punk rock the kids are listening to these days
with their long hair and their rock 'n roll and their hamburger sandwiches with french fried potatoes on the side.

11. That question is as moronic as the original opinion.
You know nothing obviously either about conservatives OR liberals.

And your question was couched in a completely offensive way. I'm sorry you think Republicans are retarded. You might make more headway in understanding if you accept that they are normal human beings and your neighbors.

And American citizens.

36. Geez. Lighten up
Valium is our friend.

Like nothing they post at the conservative Websites is offensive towards us. No one is denying they're citizens. We're all American citizens, but they have no problems actually CALLING us un-American.

Who says he's not understanding? We all know that quite a few Republican like country music. I like some of it too, but I don't count on its celebrities to tell me who to listen to like conservatives tend to.

Most of us come here to blow off steam and enjoy ourselves with people of semi-same opinions.

16. Actually, I like Garth Brooks.
He's probably one of the few males in "modern country" music that's doing something remotely close to old school country. He also puts on a hell of a show.

That being said, I also dig Frank Zappa, Negativland and Abba. :)

15. I like any music that scares rethuglicans and the religious
right, so I guess hard, dark, agressive music, but ironically one of my favorite bands is U2 to whom I have been listening since 1981. I also still listen some of the great alternative bands of the 80's like REM.

Unless you're calling Hank Williams and Johhny Cash 'Retardicans'.

Not everything is politics, people.

25. It doesn't break down by genre like that.
Country artists that are must-listen for everyone include Ray Charles' country recordings (there's a whole box set of them), Johnny Cash, and Emmylou Harris.

31. Okay calm down and hold that mule steady
I only joke to my republican friends who buy the administration's load of crap that they are Retardicans. And of course anyone can like whatever they want - That said what are three lies a cowboy always tells?

1)the truck's paid for
2) I just quit drinking
3 I was only trying to help that sheep over the fence

May this find everyone out there happy and well (including the Retardicans and Dumocrats who support Bush)
