5. Summer started late and ended early
this year. If you blinked you 'bout missed it. Oh, well. I got a new vest and a new gortex jacket, so I'm good until June. Snorkel on.

9. Yep!
Today was monsoon day in Portland...a wonderful day to end one's vacation on!
I love the fall, October is my favorite month... the leaves have just started to turn here and I like the nip in the air...very invigorating!

11. I love Seattle in the summer, though
It's wonderful to wear a sweatshirt on summer mornings..a wonder respite from the hot southeast!...Now as for autumn...Virginia is God's country in the autumn.
