now that things have quieted down a bit . . . |

How about them Yankees? . . . 2-0 going into Beantown, having beaten the cream of the Red Sox pitching staff . . . who'da thunk it? . . . I'm a Yankee fan, but frankly I'm shocked . . . Mussina and Lieber simply outpitched Schilling and Pedro . . . and when you get down to Mariano, it's game over . . .
hope the Sox can come back and make this a real series . . . be a shame to waste all that buildup and hatred . . . :)
c ya in Boston, folks . . .

1. How 'bout dem Bombers? |

Its hard to pull for the boys when you're not a "resident" anymore. People here seem to think you are just jumping on the bandwagon if you're a Yankees fan. I grew up in NY, and I witnessed plenty of the lean years. God bless Jeter, Posada, Bernie, and the rest of the cast that has made so many of the last 10 years that much more memorable. On to Fenway...GO YANKS!!!
