My car tags are expired and I don't give a big rat's |

ass. They were due last month, and for all I drive I'm tempted to just see how long I can go before some sharp eyed gendearm spots them. I'll wait until next month though, because if the election is stolen I'll be on the way to DC anyway I can get there, and an expired cartag is not going to mean a fuck anyway.

1. Just remember, you car could be towed for having expired plates. |

...depending on your individual state and local laws.
My father recently moved from Chicago to Atlanta. In the interim, his plates expired. An Atlanta cop caught it and cited him. While his car wasn't towed, it cost him a couple of hundred dollars in fines.

and drove around on her expired illinois liscense plates for 2 years before a cop that pulled up behind her at a stop sign pulled her over- she started the water works, crying about how her father always took care of that kind of stuff, and the cop let her off with a warning, and a promise to get new plates, which she did.
